Common Questions

How long has Shannon been doing this?

Psychic ability has been shown to be genetically linked. Her ability was passed down through her Celtic ancestry, and has been present from birth. Like any skill, it improves with use. Shannon started her own business in January of 1999.

How does a reading work?

Shannon brings forth information from spirit, using the tarot spread known as the “Celtic cross”. At the start of the reading the client asks their primary question. Based on this first question, Shannon then obtains the available information from her spirit guides and yours, who will work through her to give the answer. Often, in addition to an answer to the primary question, much other information about other important aspects of the clients’ life will be revealed.

What other information do I need to provide?

Shannon needs only your primary question to give the reading. In fact, Shannon prefers that the client not “give the whole story” when asking their question, as she wants the client to be assured that the reading is coming from spirit, rather that being based on information the client has already revealed.

Can I ask more than one question?

Of course. The primary question is just used as a catalyst to “open the door” for spirit. Many times spirit will bring up and answer the questions you are mentally holding before you ask them aloud.

Why are the cards used?

The cards are a tool, used as a catalyst and for confirmation on the deeper issues.

How often should I call for a reading?

Shannon advises her clients to give the first reading a chance to “settle”. She feels it is important for the client to take some time to absorb the information. She advises taking a minimum of two weeks to go out and live their lives, while keeping the reading in mind. Many people call back after receiving additional confirmation from their guides in the course of their day to day lives.

Does Shannon have an area she specializes in?

Shannon feels most guided to counsel clients in the area of romantic relationships. Although this is the area she personally enjoys, she also counsels people in any area of life, such as career, finance, health, or any choice you may be considering.

Is there any area Shannon does not work in?

Shannon prefers not to work professionally as a “medium” at this time. This is someone who talks to those who have crossed to the other side. Shannon also does not pick lottery numbers. Also, Shannon likes to keep the focus of the reading on the client, rather than looking at what someone else close to the client may be thinking or doing. She feels this is a sort of “spiritual snooping” which she is not comfortable with.
